Kopš 1986. gada viņš Birmingemā lasa lekcijas par spokiem un neatrisinātiem noslēpumiem, arī par Džona Kenedija nogalināšanu.
1895. gada pavasari pulkvedis Džons Vinsents Hārdens, cilvēks, kurš izgudrojis jaunu stereoskopiskā fotoaparāta veidu, ļoti noderīgu kriminālistikā un arheoloģijā, kļūst par anonīmu draudu upuri un pēc dēla Džeja nolaupīšanas bija spiests griezties pie Šerloka Holmsa pēc palīdzības.
Pulkvedis Hārdens fotografē un pētī uzrakstus uz senām celtnēm Anglijā, arī Glastonberijas abatijas drupās. Но в другой стороны я все же девушка, которая просто обожает умных социопатичных мужчин. Так что этот фик вроде как совмещает невозможное. Я стараюсь сделать все так, как могло было быть. Без флаффа, мимими и нормальной романтики. Идеальная пара строится из того, кто любит и того, кто позволяет себя любить. Шерлок — тот, кто позволяет себя любить.
